Terms & Conditions: QuickTax Academy Online Courses
This Public Offer sets out the terms on which Q T X ACCOUNTING L.L.C S.O.C (“QuickTax”) provides online training under the QuickTax Academy programs. By paying for a Program, you become the Customer and agree to these terms.
General Provisions
1.1This document is a public offer of Q T X ACCOUNTING L.L.C S.O.C (QTX) and/or its agents or partners (if indicated in invoices), hereinafter the “Contractor”. It contains all the essential terms on which the QuickTax Academy online training is provided.
1.2The Public Offer is an official document published on the Contractor’s website at quicktax.ac/ae/en/terms/academy/. The Programs are described on quicktax.ac/ae/en/academy/.
1.3By paying the invoice for a Program, the Customer confirms that it adopts and accepts the terms of this Public Offer. The Contractor and the Customer are the Parties to the Public Offer. Sending an application on the Website is not acceptance and does not oblige either Party.
1.4The Customer may be:
- an individual aged 18 or over with full legal capacity, who takes the Program personally as the Learner; or
- a legal entity that pays for the training of one or more named Learners, for example its employees.
By paying, the Customer confirms that the person paying has authority to do so (for a legal entity, authority to bind it), and that neither the Customer nor any Learner is subject to sanctions.
1.5The version of this Offer published on the date of the invoice applies to the Customer. Each invoice refers to that version. If this Offer is translated, the English version prevails.
1.6If the Customer is a consumer, nothing in this Offer limits the rights the Customer has under Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection and its implementing regulations.

Subject of the Agreement
3.1Under the Agreement, QTX undertakes to provide the Services for the Program stated in the invoice to the Learner. The Customer undertakes to pay for them.
3.2The content, format and price of each Program are set out in the Tariff Plan (Annex A) and on the Program page. The language of instruction is stated on the Program page.
3.3Access. QTX sends the Enrolment Confirmation and opens access to the Learning Platform within 2 Business Days of the Payment Date or, for the Comprehensive Professional Program, by the Start Date, whichever is later.
3.4Access Period.
3.4.1Junior Accountant Program: 12 months from the day access is opened. The Learner studies at the Learner’s own pace.
3.4.2Comprehensive Professional Program: 12 months from the Start Date. The schedule of the Cohort, including any live sessions and the Final Project deadline, is given in the Enrolment Confirmation or on the Learning Platform.
3.4.3When the Access Period ends, access to the Course Materials closes. A Certificate already issued remains valid.
3.5Live sessions. If a Program includes live online sessions, QTX may record them and make the recordings available to the Learners of the same Program. A Learner who does not wish to appear in a recording may keep the camera off and ask questions in the chat.
3.6Certificate. QTX issues the Certificate in electronic form, in the Learner’s name as given at enrolment:
- for the Junior Accountant Program, when the Learner has completed all 6 Modules within the Access Period;
- for the Comprehensive Professional Program, when the Learner’s Final Project is assessed as passed. If the Final Project is not passed, the Learner may resubmit it once, free of charge, within the Access Period.
3.6.1The Certificate confirms that the Learner completed a QuickTax Academy educational program. It is not a UAE government licence, an accredited academic qualification or a regulated professional designation, and it does not replace any qualification required by law.
3.7Changes to a Program. QTX may update the Course Materials, replace instructors and adjust the schedule, for example to reflect changes in UAE legislation or accounting software, provided the overall scope of the Program described in Annex A is not reduced.
3.8Technical requirements. The Learner needs a device with a current web browser and a stable internet connection. Software used in practical Modules (for example Zoho Books or Odoo) is accessed through trial, demo or training accounts that QTX indicates. QTX does not provide paid software licences.
Conclusion, Term of Validity and Termination
4.1The Agreement comes into force on the Payment Date and is valid until the end of the Access Period, or until it is terminated under this section.
4.2By paying the invoice, the Customer expresses full and unconditional agreement with all the conditions of this Offer.
4.3When the Customer accepts this Offer in the manner it provides, the Agreement is considered concluded in writing.
4.4Refund — Junior Accountant Program. The Customer may withdraw from the Agreement for any reason by written notice within 7 calendar days of the Payment Date, provided the Learner has opened no more than 1 of the 6 Modules. QTX then refunds 100% of the amount paid.
4.5Refund — Comprehensive Professional Program. The Customer may withdraw from the Agreement for any reason by written notice within 14 calendar days of the Start Date, provided the Learner has completed no more than 2 of the 12 Modules. A notice given before the Start Date is always accepted. QTX then refunds 100% of the amount paid.
4.6Transfer to a later Cohort. After the period in clause 4.5, the Customer may ask in writing to move the Learner to a later Cohort of the Comprehensive Professional Program. QTX grants this once, free of charge, to a Cohort that starts within 12 months of the original Start Date. The Access Period then runs from the new Start Date, and progress already made is kept where the Program has not changed.
4.7Cancellation or postponement by QTX. If QTX cancels a Cohort, or moves its Start Date by more than 14 calendar days, the Customer chooses either a 100% refund or a transfer to another Cohort.
4.8Payments are non-refundable in all cases not covered by clauses 4.4, 4.5, 4.7 and 4.11, including when the Learner does not use the access, does not finish the Program or does not pass the Final Project.
4.9How refunds are made. QTX refunds within 14 days of the notice, by the method used for payment or, if that is not possible, by bank transfer to an account in the Customer’s name. QTX refunds the amount it received. Charges and currency conversion differences of the Customer’s bank or card issuer are not compensated. Access to the Program closes on the day the refund is made.
4.10Termination by QTX. QTX may close the Learner’s access and terminate the Agreement immediately by written notice, with no refund, if:
- the Customer or the Learner breaches section 6, including sharing login details or distributing Course Materials;
- the Customer or the Learner provided false information at enrolment;
- the Customer or the Learner becomes subject to sanctions; or
- the Learner behaves abusively towards instructors or other Learners after a written warning.
4.11QTX may also terminate the Agreement by written notice at its sole discretion. In that case QTX refunds the amount paid for the Program in proportion to the unused part of the Access Period.
4.12Replacing a Learner. A Customer that is a legal entity may replace a named Learner by written notice before the Learner has opened any Module. Once a Learner has opened a Module, the place cannot be transferred.
4.13QTX may amend this Offer at any time, including the Tariff Plan. The new version is published on the Website and applies to invoices issued on or after its effective date. A Customer who has already paid keeps the version that applied on the date of the invoice, under clause 1.5.
4.14If regulatory acts binding on the Parties are amended, this Offer is considered amended in line with them from the date they enter into force, whether or not the amended text has been published on the Website.
The Cost of Services and Order of Payments
5.1The cost of each Program is set by the Tariff Plan (Annex A). Prices are in US dollars and include VAT where VAT applies. The invoice shows the total amount and any VAT included in it.
5.1.1The invoice may state the amount in UAE dirhams, converted at the exchange rate shown on it. The amount in the invoice is the amount payable.
5.2A Program is paid in advance, in full, by the payment methods stated in the invoice. Unless the invoice says otherwise, it is payable within 5 Business Days of its date. A place in a Cohort is held only once payment is received.
5.3The day of payment is the day the funds are credited to QTX’s bank account.
5.4When the Customer pays by credit card, the card details are entered in an electronic payment system certified by Visa Inc., Mastercard Worldwide and others, using the 3-D Secure protocol. The data is protected under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard and kept confidential.
5.5Payment is considered made when a credit card transaction succeeds, or when funds are received in QTX’s account by a non-cash payment method.
5.6Discounts, promotional prices and group prices apply only when stated in the invoice. Changes to Tariff Plan prices do not affect amounts already paid.
Use of Course Materials
6.1All rights in the Course Materials belong to QTX or its licensors. The Learner receives a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Course Materials for personal learning during the Access Period.
6.2The Customer and the Learner may not:
- share login details for the Learning Platform, or let anyone else use the Learner’s account;
- record, download, copy, publish or distribute the Course Materials or live sessions, except where the Learning Platform offers a download for personal use;
- sell, rent or use the Course Materials to train others; or
- use the Course Materials to build a competing course or product.
6.3Case documents used in the Programs are prepared for training. They may be based on anonymised real cases and do not identify any real company or person.
6.4The Learner keeps the rights in the Learner’s own submissions, including the Final Project. QTX may use them only to assess the Learner and to improve the Program, without naming the Learner.
6.5The Learner undertakes to provide true information at enrolment, to treat instructors and other Learners with respect, and to submit only original work.
Personal Information
7.1At enrolment, QTX may ask for contact information such as name, email address and telephone number, and, for a Customer that is a legal entity, its company details.
7.2QTX uses the information it collects to:
- provide, operate and maintain the Services, the Learning Platform and the Website;
- track the Learner’s progress, assess practical work and issue the Certificate;
- confirm to a third party, at its request, that a Certificate with a given number was issued;
- communicate with the Customer and the Learner, directly or through its partners, including for support, Program updates, and marketing and promotional purposes;
- send emails; and
- find and prevent fraud.
7.3If the Customer is a legal entity, QTX may report the Learner’s progress and completion to the Customer.
7.4QTX processes personal data in accordance with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 Concerning the Protection of Personal Data. Data may be processed by the provider of the Learning Platform and other service providers acting for QTX. The Learner may unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time.
Cookies
8.1Cookies are used to store information including visitors’ preferences and the pages on the Website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimise the user’s experience by customising the Website’s content based on the visitor’s browser type and other information.
Responsibility of the Parties
9.1The Parties are responsible for any failure to perform, or improper performance of, their obligations under the Agreement in accordance with the laws of the UAE.
9.2Educational content, not advice. The Programs are educational. The Course Materials, instructors’ answers and feedback on practical work explain general rules and typical cases. They are not tax, accounting or legal advice on the Learner’s, the Customer’s or any client’s specific situation. QTX is not liable for decisions made, or returns filed, on the basis of the Course Materials.
9.3QTX does not promise any particular result from the training, including employment, promotion, new clients, or passing any external exam or inspection.
9.4The Contractor is not liable if the Learner cannot use the Services because of:
- the Learner’s own device, software, internet connection or other technical problems;
- an email address or telephone number given at enrolment that is wrong or unavailable; or
- short interruptions of the Learning Platform or third-party software outside QTX’s control. If the Learning Platform is unavailable for more than 3 consecutive days, QTX extends the Access Period by the same time.
9.5The Contractor is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business, goodwill or data.
9.6The Contractor’s total liability to the Customer for all losses, liabilities and expenses arising under or in connection with the Agreement may in no case exceed the amount the Customer paid for the Program.
9.7Nothing in this section limits liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under UAE law.
Confidentiality
10.1QTX uses the information the Customer and the Learner provide solely to deliver the Services and for the purposes in section 7.
10.2QTX takes all reasonable measures, as required under UAE law and applicable industry standards, to store and protect this information.
10.3Data may be processed and stored using secure cloud solutions and data centres, including those located outside the UAE, provided such storage complies with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
10.4Confidentiality does not prevent disclosure required by law or by a competent authority.
Support
11.1The Learner can ask questions about access, the Learning Platform and the organisation of the Program by email or WhatsApp. The guaranteed response time is 2 Business Days. Business hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00–19:00 GST.
11.2Questions on the subject matter of a Program are answered in the format the Program provides (for example Q&A sessions, comments on practical tasks, or the Program chat). Individual consultations on the Learner’s own work or clients are not included.
11.3The Final Project is assessed within 10 Business Days of submission.
Special Conditions
12.1This Public Offer has the force of the Service Acceptance Report. Acceptance takes place without signing a separate act.
12.2The Parties undertake to try to settle disputes and disagreements about the Services through negotiation first. If a dispute is not settled within 30 days of written notice, it is referred to the courts of Dubai.
12.3Matters arising from the interpretation and application of this Agreement that it does not regulate are governed by the laws in force in the UAE, as applied in the Emirate of Dubai.
12.4Notices under the Agreement, including refund requests, are given by email:
- to QTX at info@quicktax.ac; and
- to the Customer at the email address given at enrolment.
Force Majeure
13.1The Parties are released from liability for complete or partial failure to fulfil their obligations under the Agreement if the failure was caused by force majeure. This includes fire, flood, earthquake, strikes, war, acts of public authorities, large-scale outages of internet or cloud services, or other circumstances beyond the Parties’ control.
