Upload page: see which files we could not accept and what to do

Your upload page and your QuickTax account now list the files we could not accept, with the reason and the next step. Sending documents is simpler too: you no longer choose a document type.

The upload page is your personal link for sending documents to QuickTax without logging in. In October we rebuilt it around one action at a time and added a warning for files that did not go through.

What changes

  • A warning at the top of the page lists each file we could not accept, with its name, date and what to do.
  • A password-protected file: upload it again without a password, or send the password to your manager in the chat.
  • A document we could not recognise: upload a clearer copy, as a PDF if possible.
  • The same warning appears in your QuickTax account. Hide one file with ✕ or the whole list with Got it; in the same browser, hiding it in one place hides it in the other.
  • You no longer pick a document type. QuickTax recognises it while processing.
  • If a link does not download, the page says why, for example when a Google Drive file is not shared with “Anyone with the link”.

How it works

  1. Open your upload link.
  2. Choose Files, Camera (on a phone) or Link. A single button sends what you chose.
  3. Keep the page open until the upload finishes.
  4. To send by email, use accounting@quicktax.ac from an address you have confirmed on the page. Add another email sends a confirmation link to a new address.

Paid something in cash? The Paid in cash? option records the payment on the same page.

What this means for you

Earlier, the page could count a file we could not read as saved for processing, so the problem surfaced only when your accountant asked about it. Now you see it the next time you open the page and can fix it yourself.

Availability

The new upload page has been live for all clients since 9 October 2026, and the list of files we could not accept since 28 October 2026. The page is in English, Russian and French. If you do not have your upload link, ask your QuickTax manager.
