Emirates NBD Celebrates Emirati Talent Achieving ICAEW and ACCA Qualifications

Emirates NBD has recognised a group of Emirati professionals who have successfully obtained internationally recognised accounting qualifications from ICAEW and ACCA, highlighting the bank's commitment to developing national talent in the UAE financial sector. In a ceremony attended by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Emirates NBD Group, the board congratulated these chartered accountants for their dedication and perseverance. Group CFO Patrick Sullivan praised their achievements as evidence of academic excellence and leadership potential, noting that a significant proportion of ICAEW-qualified Emiratis in the UAE were trained through the bank's in-house programme. This initiative, supported by Group Finance, HR, and Internal Audit, hires university students, provides lectures, hands-on tasks, and performance reviews to build a strong pipeline of skilled nationals.
